Hi guys we are tinkering on our controller. Its a New Mobility controller running ArubaOS 6.1.3.1. We are new to the aruba game and having trouble setting up what would like to do with the controller. The way our filtering works here at the school district is based off IP addresses. So we are wanting some VLANS to NAT back to a specific external IP (say 192.168.1.2 not filterd) and other VLANS to NAT back to another IP (say 192.168.2.2 filterd) is there a way we can set up the controller to NAT back to different addresses? If so does anyone have screenshots of the web based config? Thank you!

    hello airspirit,

can you explain what you want "wanting some VLANS to NAT back to a specific external IP (say 192.168.1.2 not filterd) and other VLANS to NAT back to another IP (say 192.168.2.2 filterd) is there a way we can set up the controller to NAT back to different addresses?" do you mean that when the users in VLAN x to be redirected to an other IP when they access a specified IP range ? or you mean to NAT the source IP ?

Do you have PEF license installed ?

Hello thanks for the response, The reason I want to have two different source IPS coming from seperate VLANS is because of the way our ISPS filtering works, they filter specific IP ranges that we assign students and guests, and they unfilter other ranges to give teachers access to services like youtube. So I would like the staff VLAN to NAT back to an address that our ISP doesnt filter and our student VLAN to NAT back to an address that they do filter. Thanks

Why dont you have another device to the NAT downstream and allow that device to control your routing, as well.
