    Guys,

     

    Could you please your input about the possibility to notify wireless users in the following situation (kind of message popup, any kind of notification):

     

    - I configured time-based ACL, after 7:00 PM they can associate with SSID but there is no internet access.

     ( We need no notify them since there is no way to hide the SSID after 7:00 automatically)

    - After the guest consumed his time or qouta.

    How are your users authenticating right now?  That will determine how we can possibly notify them.

     

    Disconnection because of exceeded bandwidth/time requires an external policy server like clearpass that can measure the bandwidth/time through radius accounting and trigger a change in authorization to the client.

    Easiest way would be to change their role and have a captive portal attached to that role that acts as a splash page.
