If the detedted Rogue AP has a LAN MAC Address implies it was previously detected via a wired device may be a switch, later if the same device is being detected via a wireless AP, which in turn is being connected to a Controller. How can we check to which port on the switch this Rogue AP was connected initially by logging on to the controller?

The controller would not have the port on the switch.  It would only know of the wired mac address.  Airwave would know the port, because it manages the switches and can see the switch tables.  The controller does not manage switches, so it would not have that information.

I have a similar requirement. We are doing a PoC for WIPS. The customer ask is as below:

    1. Detect the wired MAC address  & or IP address of the Rogue AP.

The controller shows the BSSID (radio mac). But we need the LAN mac so as to identify the switch port it is connected to.

Any suggestion if this is possible (with / without Airwave) and the commands / steps for that.

    I have tried

    show wms rogue-ap list

    sh ap monitor wired-mac ...
