    I have a VPN solution which use a physical controller to terminate IOS VPN terminations. Authetication is managed through clearpass and backed off to AD.

     

    Recently we have been having issues with the VPN no getting an IP address and when i check the user-table - normally where i would have the username <first.second> i just get the first three letter <fir>

     

    So clearpass shows the user as autheticated, but the VPN doesnt get an IP.

     

    has anybody seen this before?
