Outdoor AP with IAP-135

    Hello All,

     

    We have 10 IAP-135 in the office, where one AP acting as a virtual controller.

    Now we have a requirement to place a new outdoor AP in the same network.

    I need to know which access point can be supported/managed  by AP-135 virtual controller.

    The last InstantOS an IAP135 will support is Instant 4.2. If you wanted to maintain an 11n AP, then consider the IAP27x (IAP-274, IAP-275, IAP-277) as they will run Aruba Instant 4.1 and gives you the option for integrated/external antennas.The external IAP36x or IAP37x start from later versions of InstantOS.

    However the initial question should be, what type of coverage are you looking for in the outdoor environment?
