    Hi,

I'm new to Aruba. I have a Aruba 650 controller with five AP-105.

Four of my APs are working but I have problem with one. In the web interface, this AP has flag IL (inative and Unlicensed).

I added 4 AP licenses to my controller.

I have a total of 8 AP licenses. As you can see, four of them are working and use license. Why does the last one doesn't come up ?

I'm new so I will give you all the details you need.

    thank you !

AP #5 is not coming up as your PEF-NG licensing seems to be capped/limited to '4'.

my question may sound stupid but what is PEF-NG ?

No question is stupid here... we are hear to help.

The PEF-NG is the Firewall license.

From your output we can see:

    Total PEF Licenses : 4
    PEF Licenses Used : 4

So... when you try to put AP # 5 on the system you really are out-of-licenses...  firewall licenses to be specific.

To remedy, you need to add Firewall (aka. PEF-NG) to 'match' the AP license count.

So in your case  8 - 4 = 4 more PEF-NG licenses. and then all will be well up to 8 APs.
