    Hello all,

This may be a stupid question, but I don't understand the RF band setting in the System Profile of an AP group.  We have AP-215s and it is set to g.

We have both 5 GHZ and a dwindling 2.4 GHZ base connecting now.

What does this setting drive and how does it affect users connecting?

    Thanks

It is only active when you have an access point that only has a single radio. We no longer sell those types of access points.

For a complete answer, when an access point only had a single radio (ap-61, ap93), it would decide what band would be active for that access point in that ap-group (because you only have one).  Again, we don't sell single-radio access points any more, so it would only apply to users who still have those access points...
