    Aruba novice licencing question. Is RF Protect and WebCC licences include free of charge with an AP in instant mode e.g. IAP-274 or IAP-275 ? I understand equibalent AP on a controller requries these licences to be purchased separately.

    Aruba Instant comes free of additional licenses so AppRF is included without an additional license.

     

    The second part of your question, WebCC, is a subscription, that allows access to the Web classification database. You will need to purchase a subscription if you are using that.

     

    In order to use WebCC on Aruba Instant, you need either:

    - Aruba Central (Cloud Management)

    - Cloud Web Policy Enforcement (JW455AAE Aruba SUB1-WE-IAP-1 for 1 Instant AP 1-year Subscription). There are 3 and 5-year equivalents of that subscription available as well.

     

    So if you have Aruba Central, the WebCC is included in that subscription.
