[Resolved] AP stucks in upgrade/reboot loop

    Hi,

     

    ArubaOS (MODEL: Aruba7240-US), Version 6.3.1.9

    AP Type 225

     

    Performed the AP privisoning using a Console cable:

    apboot> setenv group XXX

    apboot> setenv name ABC  

    apboot> setenv master [IP]

    apboot> setenv server [IP]

     

    After connecting to the network AP stucks in a upgrade/reboot loop according to "show ap debug counters ap-name ABC" command. 

     

    show datapath session table shows Y flags (output is attached). Does it mean a firewall ACL is blocking the connection?

    On the controller's commandline type "show log system 50" and see if you see anything about the access point.

    Thanks Colin. 

     

    I just resolved the issue. I believe it was the ACL on our core switches. The following cheat sheet was really helpful with troubleshooting:
