    Hi !

I would like to increase the number of simultaneous Telnet connections allowed to my Aruba Mobility Controller : ArubaOS 5.0.3.3

User concerned is "admin" with "root" role.

Any idea how i can do that ?

Thanks for all and best reagards,

    That cannot be increased, unfortunately.

You can type "show loginsession" to see who is currently logged in.  You can also type, from the console "clear loginsession <x>" to disconnect that user, but only when you are connected to the physical console.

    well...ok...

Do you know what is, officially, the max simultaneous connections allowed on telnet port, by default ?

In my tests it seems this is 4-5-6...not really sure...

Note Answer : i've improved my script : this is 5 simultaneous telnet connections.

    Regards

5 is the max number of concurrent telnet session.  Keep in mind to set the "loginsession timeout" to a reasonable time.

In other words, if you set the loginsession timeout to 0 (infinite) and then you inadvertently close the ssh session abruptly, you may put yourself in a bind ..
