    Hi All,

If I use Spectrum Analyzer and I see a bluetooth device on a certain channel, can I use location tracking in AirWave to localize the device?

Can I use Spectrum Monitor to see IDS events? Is it using the same IDS/IPS monitoring functionality like AirMonitor (for example to see DOS, RogueAP, Containment, ...)?

    Thanks

    - You can enable the "interferers" checkbox under devices to "see" bluetooth devices.  According to online help- "Interferer indicators works for ArubaOS devices running 6.1 or newer that have run the mgmt-server type AMPcommand, and have APs performing Spectrum analysis through hybrid scanning or dedicated spectrum monitors."  In practice, interferers can be difficult to locate accurately.

    - You cannot visualize IDS/IPS events in VisualRF, but it can locate Rogues, yes..
