    Hi,

We have configured a captive portal for our guest users. First we wanted to control all of the client flows by catching all packet in a transparent proxy. This was done by a special rule in the FW config of our PowerConnect 3600.

Howerver SSL flows induce error on client side, like ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR beacause of ssl interception by the proxy.

    * First, we think that it is a well known problem, what are the BP in this case ?

    * Then if we decide to "not intercept" SSL flow by our proxy, is there anyway to log traffic (with user name) using the FW features of the controler ?

    BR,
