Upgrading Clearpass from 6.3.1 to 6.3.6

  • 1.  Upgrading Clearpass from 6.3.1 to 6.3.6

    Hi

     

    We are trying to upgrade the Clearpass agent on Client systems / PCs from 6.3.1 to 6.3.6 with SCCM (even tried with GPO) , but it fails after unsintalling the old version, below is the log that says it's uninstalling the old version

     

    if: ClearPassUSHARemediate.exe,0 is not running

    Calling uninstaller since UNINSTALL=0 and UPGRADE=1

     

    Same time we are able to install the agent manually and this time it's not uninstalling the old version, but proceeds with the installation as seen below

    if: ClearPassUSHARemediate.exe,0 is not running

    proceeding for install

    Call: 3067

     

    Has anyone faced similar issue?

    no personal experience with (un)installing the clearpass agent with sccm or gpo unfortunately.
