Hi,
However, I would like to ask you if there are some conditions.
1) Use WIPS as a whole.
2) Some ssid not controlled
(ex. Aruba SSID : aruba_1 used
aruba_2 used
Unknown SSID : test_1 used
test_2 block(WIPS))
1) was successful.
But something happened during the 2) course of the play.
Any advice is appreciated!
What WIPS policy would you like to enforce? WIPS is general. What would you like to do specifically?
For example, two SSID on the Aruba controller work normally.
And there are two SSID visible elsewhere.
(One is normal , one is block)
If so, can I configure WIPS to block only one of the two?
What do you want to block?
I want to block only the SSID I want.
example,
ssid_1, ssid_2, ssid_3, ssid_4
ssid_1 block
ssid_2 not block
ssid_3 block
ssid_4 not block
Is it possible?
You want to block clients from connecting to SSID1 and SSID3? If you have encryption or authentication enabled, wouldn't that block them?
Blocks even if it is encrypted or authenticated.
Regardless of the type of SSID (OPEN, encryption, authentication), can I block only what I want through WIPS?
What are you blocking? WIPS can block because of a type of behavior. What behavior are we blocking?
sorry, it 's my mistake.
We were not using a wips license.
I made a really big mistake.
I'll try it again.
