VIA VPN IP Addresses

    I asked this in a different area of the forums and din't get a response so I'll try my luck here.

     

    Question: is it possible to set static IP assignments to VIA clients?

    If so, can someone point me in the right direction for learning how to do so?

    I saw that question but couldn't answer it as it is not a trivial question that comes up often. Please open a TAC case if you need an answer.

    I think cannot assign static IP to client.

    Yeah, I am not finding really anything about it anywhere with VIA. So if I can't do it that way, can VIA clients be assigned addresses from another source OTHER than the controller, AD for example. If I could do that, then I could do static assignements based on mac address.

     

    Anyone?

    OR - does anyone know o a walk through on how to do a site to site VPN between and Aruba controller and a windows server 2016 box?
