VPN Profile saying Network is down or URL is Unreachable

    So on VIA when i type in the IP address to download VPN Profile i keep getting a error that says network is down or URL is unreachable. Anyone got any ideas on why this might be happening.

    Are you putting in the public or private ip address of VIA?  Did this ever work?  You need to be able to access the controller on port TCP 443 to download the profile and UDP 4500 to establish the ipsec connection.

    So we are on a closed loop using certificates to login. We fixed the issue with that but not when we are trying to login with our certificates we get an error that says invalid credentials? any ideas on that

    Did you use the VIA app note to configure your certificate deployment?  https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Validated-Reference-Design/Virtual-Intranet-Access-VIA/ta-p/155614

     

    You should turn on authmgr debugging to find out what is going on:

     

    config t

    config t
    logging security process authmgr level debugging  

    Above is ArubaOS 8 syntax.  The ArubaOS 6.x syntax is similar.

     

    You would try to authenticate and then type "show log security 50" to get a sense what is wrong.
