    Hi,

Can someone please advise if the recommended RAM configuration in the server installation guide takes into account Visual RF allocation or should this memory be considered separately.

Eg I've got an AMP 7.7.x server with 250 devices and 8 GB of RAM, I've got about 150 floor plans so VisualRF recommended RAM allocation is 3 GB. Should i therefore alllow for 11 GB or RAM?

The server installation guide is based on a number of devices with VisualRF split into floors of 30 APs per floor.  At 150 floors, you're going to want to make sure to provide the additional RAM.  We usually jump from 8GB to 16GB at the next tier.  If you want to get more into details, the number of clients(16 per AP)  and rogues (8 per AP) also factors into the predicted amount.  These were the metrics I had used when I last tested scalability benchmarking.
