Are the MST200 a good choice to connect two building, the application will be VOIP and Citrix sessions at the remote location?

Do you have any recommendations for lightning protection?

Does the Cat6 cable have to be exterior grade, the APs will be mounted on poles on the roof of both building

    Thanks

What speed can we expect to get at that distance, with good line of site?

The MST200s are a good fit for that application. Yes you should use UV rated outdoor ethernet cable, and your local CE should dictate what lightning protection you need, but usually some kind of lightning protection on the ethernet is requested, grounded outside the building (esp if exposed above the roofline).

Speeds over that link will be determined by whether you are doing HT20 or HT40 links, but should be near max speed. Check out the chart from the outdoor VRD (http://www.arubanetworks.com/wp-content/uploads/OMWN_VRD_2012-01-04-1.pdf), which shows you the HT40 throughput rates. HT20 would roughly half that. For the MST200 you want to check use the red 5614-to-5614 plot.

One question, what is the type and number of voice clients that will be running over the link?
