Will the AP220 support MU-MIMO?

    Greetings Airheads.

The subject asks the question but does anyone know if the AP220 will support MU-MIMO? Obviously this is thinking 18 months ahead (given that there are still but a few ac clients available) but the inclusion of the 2 x GigE ports is what has prompted the question.

I've been hunting around and can't see anything in any literature that suggests it will (unless there is a plan for a software update to enable the feature later down the line once 802.11ac is ratified)

Any thoughts or info? Thanks in advance,

    Dean

MU-MIMO is part of 802.11ac  Wave-2 , is not supported in 220 APs

Thanks Victor. I'm assuming then that the reason the AP220's have 2x1GigE ports is to be able to suppor the aggregate bandwidth of 1.3Gbps for SU-MIMO. I guess with 802.11ac still being draft, it would be hard to ratify just yet anyway. It's just a shame that Wave 2 can't be done/enabled through a software upgrade (but here's hoping)

    Thanks again Victor.
