Is there a way to auto-associate wired Airgroup servers?

I went through the user guide of 8.x and found auto-association is applicable only for wireless AirGroup servers but not for wired Airgroup servers. Please correct me, if I am wrong. I am working on a similar deployment and found that after sometime iPhone device is able to discover wired Apple TV associated with other ap-group.

In our setup, we don't use ClearPass and the controller is in standalone topology.

For wired devices, you would enter the wired mac address of the Apple TV into a server-based policy and then enter the ap-group you want it associated to using the server-based policy instructions here:  https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_86_Web_Help/Content/arubaos-solutions/airgroup/conf-argp-srbs-poli.htm?Highlight=airgroup%20policy

For best performance, it is best to autoassociate to an ap-name and add a server-based policy to just an ap-name, instead of an ap-group, which consumes more cycles on the controller.

As per your suggestion, I made changes. Please find the same below:

    (Aruba7030) [mynode] #show airgroup status

    AirGroup Information
    --------------------
    Feature               Status
    -------               ------
    AirGroup mode         Distributed
    AirGroup Profile      TestAirgroup
    CPPM Profile
    Active domain

    MDNS                  Enabled
    DLNA                  Disabled
    Enforce Registration  Enabled
    IPV6                  Disabled

    AirGroup Service Information
    ----------------------------
    Service          Status
    -------          ------
    default-airplay  Enabled

    (Aruba7030) [mynode] #show airgroup policy-entries

    AirGroup Device Policy Information
    ----------------------------------
Device             device-owner  shared AP-name  shared AP-FQLN  shared AP-group  shared users  shared groups  shared roles  CPPM-Req  CPPM-Resp  source  Auto-Associate  Neighborhood
    ------             ------------  --------------  --------------  ---------------  ------------  -------------  ------------  --------  ---------  ------  --------------  ------------
    50:de:06:71:b4:74  N/A           APground                                                                                                         CLI                     No
    50:de:06:7e:12:9a  N/A           APfirst                                                                                                          CLI                     No

But still, I am able to see the wired Airgroup server on another floor. I believe this might be happening because of Apple's bluetooth based discovery because Apple TV is visible at a particular location.

From Apple TV side I changed Settings > AirPlay > AirPlay and switched from Everyone to Anyone on the Same Network. But still I am able to see wired Airgroup server on iPhone.

I validated it doesn't seem to be issue because of bluetooth based discovery. On the ground floor I can still see First-floor airgroup server with bluetooth disabled on my device.

Per-AP Airgroup is limited to being on an AP and its immediate neighbors.  If the AP you are on can see other APs, you will see the airgroup devices on those APs.

    Thank you for the explanation!

I tried the same with Ap-group as well but still no luck.
