    Hello,

We have WIFI interruption regularly (every X days). Each time we notice the same behavior:

-Memory utilization reaches value of 210MB /250MB

-Each time interruption lasts 5mn and standby controler doesn’t activate

-Always same messages appear in the errore.log :

    <date>   syslog: LargeReplyTimeout: TIMEOUT

    <date>  syslog: PAPI_SendWaitForLargeReply: No response from 7f000001:8214

At the same time, we notice there is a purge of files during the interruption :

    memory snapshot: before interruption

Memory (Kb): total: 256060, free: 42671

    … Querying excessively large apps

    auth     : 25/20M (cur/typical)  5M over

    Large files under /tmp :

    /tmp:-rw-------    1 root     root     29802496  core.17057.auth.xxx_28161

    memory snapshot: after interruption :

Memory (Kb): total: 256060, free: 64579

    auth     :  4/20M (cur/typical)  0M over

Does somebody have seen this behavior before ?

Last point : in the technical logs, the user table is limited to 94 users

    >> show aaa state configuration    / Current/Max/Total Users     94/94/94

The controller is supposed to accept up to 2048 users, so why can’t I have more than 94 users authenticated at the same time ?

    Thanks

That Max is the max you have it at a single time, not the max you can hit.

    Questions:

    - What controller model?

    - What version of code?

The controler is OAW-6000 release 3.4.4.3

    I use supervisor card I => I can't upgrade to rel 6

Zjennings, what do you mean "That Max is the max you have it at a single time" ?

    I can't have more than 94 users every seconde ? every 100msec, 5mn ?

    thanks

It is the Max users that have been connected at a single time. The "it" was a typo. It should have said "That Max is the max you have seen at a single time." It might be cleared on reboot (aka start back at 0). It is definitely NOT a limit.
