database synchronize

Dear Expert,

We have a master and a backup master. Should we enable database syn on the master only or on both controllers? Is there a recommended period for the auto-syn?

Thanks,

Sam

Re: database synchronize

Database synchronization can only be done from the master to the local. It should be enabled on both sides so that when the backup master becomes the master, it will synchronize.

You should leave the synchronization period at 30 minutes. There is no benefit to making it less than that.
