firmware upgrade

    I was told that after a certain version of firmware a 620 would not be able to be upgraded due to the size of the firmware. I would like to upgrade to 6.2.1.5 .. do you know if this version will install on a 620?

    You should be able to. Before you upgrade, run the follwing two commands:

     

    tar crash
tar logs tech-support

     

    Then run to clear out the logs and free up some space.

     

    tar clean crash
tar clean logs

     Then run:

    show memory

     You need at least 40 MB free to upgrade using the CLI, or 60 MB to upgrade via the web UI.
