I'm tring to us nagios monitoring system to monitor my Aruba 7210 controller and access points.

I would like to get the status like up and down. Also the throughput, number of connected clients, average SNR.

Also if anyone can recommend any other item or items I should monitor to help me raise my users satisfaction would be help full.

While nagios is good for up/down monitoring (we're using it for alerting on AP status), a lot of what you're talking about is really much more about performance monitoring, which nagios isn't very great at.  Have you thought about taking a look at Airwave?  It's designed for exactly the problem you're trying to solve, and far more optimized for Aruba specifics than anything you're likely to be able to pull of on your own with more generic tools.

Nagios will monitor SNMP wither MIB polling or trap collection (or both)

You'll want to browse through the MIB to see what you can monitor.

    I'm using check_aruba script I found here:

    http://udel.edu/~doke/nagios/

It gives me up/down status on controllers, and also ensure that a given AP has an up status on at least one controller out of a list.
