    hello experts ,

i need to migrate my aruba 225 access points from a previous controller to a new one which is a 7030.

it was told to me that these access points were configured statically and now they need to be on DHCP.

so i wanted to check two things, how can i check if the ap's are currently running on static setting ?  ( is there a way to enable telnet to the ap from the controller )

or would i need to console into each and every ap ?

secondly what are the commands to clear the static settings ( if possible please share the commands for statically setting up the ap's) and then put them on DHCP .

Unfortunately, you have to go into configuration> wireless> AP installation and select each AP individually and change it to DHCP.  The Aruba System is designed to use DHCP and it is less flexible when using static addressing.
