when attempting to provision a 215 AP under mobility master v8.x i get "%incomplete command" error message.

this AP had been functioning properly, but for undetermined reasons, got disconnected.

after solving the connectivity issue, the AP was in 'guest' mode. to convert it to 'campus' mode, we ran 'convert-aos-ap cap a.b.c.d'  (specifying the correct ip address).

this command seems to have run properly as it reported that it's doing the conversion and after a short while simply gave a prompt without complaining..

we now need to provision it, but all attempts result in the above error msg immediately on clicking 'provision'. in the mobility management web-gui.

we're currently at a loss on how to proceeed.

any hints would be greatley appreciated,

    tnx,

    ams

Did the conversion complete succesfully? So you see the new AP in the AP database?

Do you add it to a specific ap group when installing the AP?

we see it in the db. part of the provisioning is placing it in a group,
    which gives the error.
we don't even get to the provisioning window. on clicking 'provision', the
    error pops up.

I've seen this before and fixed this via a few ways:

    1) Check your web browser is supported under the User Guide and use a supported browser.

    2) Restart the http process (#process restart http)

i restarted the httpd but it had no effect.

i'm running firefox v66. user guide specifies v48 and north.

    tnx anyway.

    any other suggestions?

is there an hp-aruba bug report for this?

i mean, 'incomplete command' is something we should never be seeing in a gui.
