    I've searched here, the internet and poked around on the controllers, but I'm unable to find a way to directly query the underlying database on any of the systems except for Airwave. There must be a way to do it. Can anyone suggest a way to gain access?

    You cannot. There is a REST API for ArubaOS 8.x that can be used.

    Oh bother. I'll have to read the 8.1 API Guide.
