roaming between ap groups on different controllers

    Hi,

     

    i have two ap groups, which are both active on seperate controllers.  Is it possible to roam between the two groups?  Which would mean that an active authenticated user entry needs to be transferred to another controller.

    Yes, it is possible.  Ideally you want the user to be in the same layer 2 vlan on the second controller so that you do not create any roaming/dhcp/state issues on the client.

    Have been reading some docs about this.  Enabled vlan mobility.  But roaming does not seem to work.  I always need to re-authenticate with Clearpass.  I will enable user debugging to find out more info.
