    Hello all,

     

    Today I had an issue with my IAP at home and while trying to troubleshoot I came across this command on the tech-support dump and I can't find a good paper that would describe what I'm seeing.  AP model 515 running 8.6.0.4 

    Physical layout Home-Modem(192.168.1.0/24)__eth__>IAP 

    IAP is running DHCP for my essid users (192.168.2.0/24) with a preshare key..

    The flag for the 192.168.2.0/24 network is a D, which by the description is Drop. (nobody is dropping, everything is working fine).  The other question is vlan 3333 for it, is that a random vlan that the AP chose to used? 

     

    I would really appreciate any information on this.  

    BTW - I don't think this has nothing to do with my issue this morning, is just I'm curious to understand the command and the output.  The issue was that some devices (iPhone, Work PC) were connected to the WiFi but had not internet while some other didn't have that issue.  I rebooted the devices, forget network, rejoin and still nothing.  Eventually the issue resolved itself.

    These commands may be for Aruba support purposes only.

     

    I didn't really run into it before. If I run it on my AP, I see the VLAN 3333 as well, and it is the 'magic VLAN' that is used for 'Instant AP/VC assigned VLAN':
