unable to upgrade 6.5.4.12

    trying to upgrade from 6.5.4.12 to 8.6 also tried 6.5.4.16

     

    it keeps failling and i cann find in the log why 

     

    we did push a batch of config changes, but i cannot figure out why it wont upgrade. are there any configs that stop this upgrade i need to remove? 

    been pulling my hair out for 2 weeks now, time to ask for help

    we use airwave to manage and upgrade

    What method are you using?

    Is this a controller-based install or Aruba Instant?

    As Colin mentioned, it's important to understand if this is Instant or a controller deployment as the approach will be different. For controller you need to migrate your configuration and can't just upgrade the firmware between 6.x and 8.x.

     

    Have you tried to do a manual upgrade of one of your devices outside of Airwave? That may indicate why an upgrade in Airwave does not work properly.

    we run them as IAP no controller 

     

    I looked up and my version should be able to go 8.6 directly
