upgrade firmware on AP

    I am currently running version 6.4. on my controller but I noticed that my APS have a local firmware from 2009 is this something I can upgrade locally

    What controller do you have and what firmware is on it?

    You are likely seeing the bootloader when the AP first boots up (assuming you are looking at the syslog output OR the console output. That rarely changes or neds updating. So long as the AP is up and running on your controller, it's running the current code on your controller.
