we have a deployment with MM - MD, AOS 8.5.0.4.

We are using same vlan number - vlan 30 on all MD's for users WLAN-Users. Now I have one site MD which need to use a different vlan...vlan 40 for wireless users WLAN-Users.

Changing the vlan number for only this MD will affect all other sites which are using WLAN-Users due to MM-MD config ?

You should change your VLAN assignment to named VLANs. This way you can call the VLAN “WLAN-Users” in your wireless profiles, and then on each controller or controller group, assign VLAN 30 or 40 to use the VLAN name “WLAN-Users”

Does that make sense? I can show you an example if needed.

Take a look here. Notice how Internet is VLAN 100 globally. You can change this at the controller level to another VLAN number if needed.

thank you Dustin..ok, I understand now. so I can change the vlan number on the controller level and this one will not affect all other controllers. In this case I will have vlan 50 for all my controllers except this one with vlan 100.

    That is correct.
