what is the difference between lan-based ap and wired ap?

Hi, what is the difference between lan-based ap and wired ap?

 

 

From 3200 controller datasheet,

 lan-based ap :32

 wired ap:8

 

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

A wired AP is a switch with tunneled-node ports.
