It's the same principle. Put Aruba Instant image of your choice for platform Hercules to TFTP server and use upgrade os command to transfer it to AP.
for example your tftp server ip address is 10.0.0.10 and your image file is ArubaInstant_Hercules_8.9.0.3_83448 then you can upload the file as follows
boot> setenv serverip 10.0.0.10
boot> upgrade os 0 ArubaInstant_Hercules_8.9.0.3_83448
boot> boot
Hope this help, Gorazd

I have been busy and just comming back to this. but the AP is to be used as an IAP and I do not have a controller.
Not sure how to send firmware directly to the AP.

Hi Michael.
I described an upgrade procedure for AP if the OS image is broken or missing in this thread. AP-325 Missing OS Image

I have an AP-304
It is not booting right. It goes into Kernal Panic and reboots.
I have attached the console session as a text file.
Any thoughts on what is happening?
Is it the Firmware? How do I upgrade firmware through console?
Thank You
