VRF is called Multi-VPN Instance Customer Edge (MCE) on Comware. The 5945 series support up to 4095 VRF/MCEs.

512 VRF instances (vpn-instance) is quite huge ! Are you sure it's not "routing interfaces" ?
Well, there is no clear limit expressed in the documentation concerning vpn-instances.
5940 switches accept up to 2K vlan interfaces, but I guess vpn-instances limits are way lower.

We have requirement to propose HPE Comware DC switches with 512 VRF instance.
Can we get HPE FF 5940 48XGT 6QSFP28 Switch (JH391A) to cater this VRF requirement, or if not, do we have another option from HPE Comware series?
